KMBC are proud to announce the 3rd edition of the MARGS MUSTER.
Once again we have booked out Wharncliffe Mill and have exclusive use of all
facilities and enmities. Wharncliffe have been generous enough to offer a stay for 3 nights and pay for two package.
We are excited to announce on the Friday night we will be riding the short distance to the New Margaret River Brewhouse (www.brewhousemargaretriver.com.au) for a Sundowner of socializing, eating and sampling there beautiful range of craft beers, (don’t forget to bring your night lights) then returning to Wharncliffe to sit around the fire pit and stare into the coals.
Saturday will see the return of our free bacon and egg breakfast to get us ready for the day’s activities. Adults and kids activities will be on through out the morning with talk of shuttles down Paper Trail and Big Pine being planned. The highlight of the day will be the 2nd edition of the Goobers Pool Cup. Registrations and a sausage sizzle for lunch will be held at the Hairy Marron where we will ride out to Goobers Pool to smash the MRORCA crew on their own trail.
That night the kids disco will kick off again and Goobers Pool trophies will be handed out to the winning club. (which will be us of course) We have found a local supplier of beautiful meats and we will cook up a storm on the BBQ’s with homemade salads to even out the carnivals feast. (Meals will be at cost price).
The fires will be cranked up and MTB videos will be playing as always.
Sunday will see kids coaching sessions. Adults can go out and explore on their own or join us for more shuttles. Rod Lakelin has been kind enough to guide adults around Middle Earth for all that want to join him. We have secured a late check out with Wharncliffe so the morning should be nice and crusiey.

To answer some questions about the upcoming Kalamunda Come and Try MTB day and social rides this coming Sunday (13th March), here's a timeline and some extra details:
Due to the closure of Mundaring Weir Road from 6.50 am - 9.30am, we will be running an early social ride at 7.15am for 7.30am ride out. There will be fast and cruisey groups with both returning by 9am. Therefore you could meet up with family and friends taking part in the Come and Try day from 9am.
At 9am Rock and Roll MTB will start the Come and Try MTB sessions for adults and kids, which will run all morning. Free hire are provided if required, with coffee and BBQ also be available from 9am.
We will be running a second later social ride at 9.15am for a 9.30am ride out. This will have long and short ride options (long 30-35km, short 90 mins), with the short ride ideal for those bringing family and friends to the Come and Try event.
All social riders and Come and Try participants will get free access into the Kalamunda Waterpark.
