The Club was formed by a small group of enthusiasts more than 20 years ago. In 2004 a purpose built centre named the Sir Patrick Moore Astronomy Centre was opened for those interested in astronomy.
The Jersey Astronomy Club holds its monthly Club meeting on the second Monday of every month (except in August when there is no Club meeting). Start time is 8:00 p.m.
Please note children cannot be left unattended and must be accompanied at all times by an adult.
Novice astronomers are encouraged to seek advice at any of our meetings.
Here is a nice little UK Website I found whilst googling JAC to find out how out-of-date the information listed on the web for the JAC was. And the answer to that was VERY out-of-date! I'm in the process of getting all sites I can find us listed on updated. If you happen to come across an outdated site please let me know and I will try and get it resolved.
