Please join Jewel P. Lightfoot Masonic Lodge No. 1283 for our 2018 Festive Board, at The Pyramid Restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel on Thursday, the 5th of April at 6:30 p.m.

Joining us is the best-selling author,
Bro. Angel Millar, his publications include: The Crescent and the Compass: Islam, Freemasonry, Esotericism, and Revolution in the Modern Age (Numen Books, 2015 and Torazzi Press, 2017), Freemasonry: Foundation of the Western Esoteric Tradition (2014), and Freemasonry: A History (2005). His writing has also been published in The Journal of Indo-European Studies, Quest magazine, and Philalethes, among others. Millar has spoken about Freemasonry and related subjects on various podcasts, on US and Canadian radio, and at such events as Masonic Con in Massachusetts and at "300: Freemasonry's Legacy, Freemasonry's Future," held in Alexandria, Virginia in 2017.

Bro. Millar was born in Greater London, England. He lived in Halifax, in Canada, for several years. And is now permanently based in New York City.

Brother Millar will offer a presentation entitled “Freemasonry, Orientalism, Terrorism, and The Making of The Modern World”

A private social hour starts at 6:30 p.m. The brethren will be asked to assemble in the dining room by 7:30 p.m. This black-tie event, modeled on the nineteenth century festive boards of England and Scotland, is one of our premier events and sets the standard for festive boards in Dallas.

The menu is not available currently, but we expect it to include a salad, entrée choice of beef, fish, or chicken, and dessert, as well as tea and coffee.

Cash bar available.

Feel free to bring cigars to the post-Festive-Board event at the Fairmont’s rooftop patio.

All Masons are welcome to attend. Seating is limited. RSVP is Required.
