INW Prep Presents
Successful Master Gardeners
Pat & Jim McGinty!
Frustrated with harvesting "mostly ripe" food from your garden? Increasing prices on nearly every important thing, but especially food items, have your family's food budget strained?
Our local gardening season has been shortening as a result of a decline in solar activity since the 1960's, according to NASA!
In this class, you will learn how to:
- choose short season (60-70 day) veggie varieties,
- plan a garden that will produce inexpensive, calorie-dense nutritious food, and
- reduce your time and effort in the garden.
You will learn tips and techniques necessary for growing food in a changing climate. We will NOT be discussing the why, who, or how of climate change! This is a class on practical gardening.
Offers to video / record presentations are welcomed, as we build up our resource library! Feel free to bring a snack or drink to share.
Your donation of at least $5 is greatly appreciated! It HELPS to cover building rental, equipment costs, edvertising, provides some compensation to presenters, and assists in defraying the well-over one thousand dollars personally spent each year on websites, materials, printing, travel and research for inwPrep.
No one, however, is refused admission due to financial hardship.
You are encouraged to bring ANY legal items to share, swap or sell!
Thanks and Blessings!
