Coffee and Catchup with . . . The Bramwells!
Alan and Dr. Brenda Bramwell have been friends and mentors to hundreds of us over the past several years, initiating the first operational C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team) Training in the Inland Northwest. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_emergency_response_team
Nearly 100 went through their training; about 80% came from US - inwPrep ranks! Most graduates have signed on to be CERT Volunteers under the leadership of Bob Howard, Emergency Services Manager of Bonner County, Idaho.
Alan and Brenda are looking forward to shifting from part-time North Idaho farmsteaders to permanent, once their work loads in WA State shift. They share many of our interests and experiences - solar power, organic growing, raising livestock, etc.
We rarely have the opportunity to reconnect with these good folks; Brenda's work, especially, has her deployed anywhere a disaster seems to strike!
Let's gather this Saturday and say Hi, from 2PM to 3:30; maybe we can even get some good insights regarding the CoronaVirus . . After all, it was Brenda who tipped us off to it's existence, weeks ago, and that's why you heard about it HERE, on inwPrep, first!
Who knows? There may even be enough folks who would like to create a CERT team in Eastern Washingtom!!!?
