Many of you are probably familiar with the Bonner County Amateur Radio Club two meter repeater on Hoodoo Mountain. What you may not know is that it was recently linked to the North Idaho Repeater Group. The repeater is now linked to repeaters in Kootenai, Benewah and Shoshone Counties. Because these linked repeaters are capable of both IRLP and Echolink, our horizons have greatly expanded. More information here.
Just today (12/01/2018) The Kootenai Amateur Radio Society (KARS) put up a repeater on Blacktail Mountain in Careywood. It is linked to the two other KARS repeaters on Mica Peak and Canfield Butte. The new repeater is on two meters configured as follows: 146.680 (-) pl 136.5.
