MEETUP Group: "PREPPING with Fun and Games!"

MEETUP Group: "PREPPING with Fun and Games!"

For those of you who have family & friends who may want to "get their feet wet" with preparedness, minus some of the "deeper" discussions we occasionally have here, please invite them to check out:

https://www.meetup.com/PREPPING-With-Fun-Games/

I know, I know, meetup leans to the left side of the political fence, and our group to the right.  My Guidance is, find those who are interested in Preparedness.  Believe me, food and firearms are being stocked by all sides of the spectrum.
Our youth cannot help but think and act the way they do, considering the educational system, media, etc.
Missionaries, by nature, go into the foreign camp for converts.  Also, we wimp and whine that there are no kids on our side; where else would you go to get them?  when you think of places, send them this link!
BTW, those events will be posted here, plus more, very shortly.

Thanks!
Russ

250 Pounds of Food, only $60

250 Pounds of Food, only $60

To Reply, remember to hit "Reply", not "Reply All"

From my personal email, I asked all of you a question at 8AM today; a copy of it is at the bottom of this email.
The reply was staggering and overwhelming; dozens of responses in the first hour, more continuing through the day, invariably summed up in this one short reply:

Russ, please keep the emails coming.

Thanks for all you and Ranger do.

OK, so we're not shouting down an empty dark hole, after all.  And, I'm not looking to whip this horse to death, either.  Sure, the virus is a problem, but (right or wrong) it's not my main focus.
My focus is on the logistical and economic fallout - the goods, services and food tied to all this.  Just one example: Semis on the roads (delivering Chinese goods) need constant (Chinese) parts and service.
Ponder that for a moment, then build up the intestinal fortitude to see what's being shown on the brief 15-second video clips here:

CHINA SEIZING CELL PHONES / TABLETS TO CONCEAL VIRUS INFO :Thousands of phones have already been taken and thousands more are being seized on sight.THIS is one aspect of Communism: Totalitarianism

If, for some reason, the above does not click through, please try here (be sure to see the WELDING video):

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/china-seizing-cell-phones-tablets-to-conceal-virus-info

I don't know if
https://www.stevequayle.com/ is the "best" news source or not, but it has appeared to be trustworthy and verifiable.  Having no TV for 20+ years puts me in a unique situation of being constantly on the hunt for real news that is not constantly dramatic or expostulating (neither FOX/FauX nor AJ cut it for me, sorry).
I welcome other suggestions that are not rabid.

All I'm asking is, aside from the medical aspect of this, please consider the "just in time" delivery system that, quite literally, feeds us.Even if you only have "a few bucks", look at all you can do with it here:
http://woodshayandgrain.com/woods_feedstore.html

Folks, if you've not yet sprouted grains (here's your vitamin C!), made bread or cracked / cooked them for cereals, it's past time to get on board.  Would you plant the peas, or make pea soup?  Maybe spread a little corn to attract geese, turkeys, deer . . .  We're talking 25 cents a POUND here.  Would you rather give me a ride in your car, or take 5 sacks of food home?  That'd be the smartest $60 you've spent, carrying 250 lbs of food home.

My earlier email:

You all know that Ranger, a few others and myself are on an unpaid and often derided Mission (for decades) to help others during these times.

Right now, we are amazed at the apparent lack of interest - certainly a shortage of responses - this situation is generating from the hundreds (if not thousands) of people we interact with, in person and by email.

We can only surmise that everyone is totally squared away with all their foods and supplies; training; comms are up to speed in neighborhoods; everyone knows their backup and bugout / in plans; folks have aligned themselves with trusted others in order to live in mutual assistance groups on rural properties; their housing is pre-positioned; their foodstuffs, clothing and gardening tools are, also.

If that is the case, we can report back: Mission Complete.

If not, we will be asking ourselves, at the time of our Final Report, How did I Fail?

Folks, we believe that this is the single most momentous event, to date, that can change our world as we know it virtually overnight. List the items that you need, think about where they come from, realize that those items and their packages may have been sweated or sneezed upon. Remember that the virus can be picked up WEEKS later by handling that package. Then work that timeline backwards. How "fresh" are fresh edibles? Cerainly within a few weeks!

Do we just need a Group within our Group, to continue preparing, discussing and pre-positioning? If that is so, speak up, let me know, and we'll no longer bother the others with emails. Seriously; your feedback is appreciated. Simply hit "Reply", not "Reply All".

Thanks!

Russ

1) Blue Masks - 2) GAMES Year - 3) EMF and PAIN Management

E-mail sent by BG1RS 22PLINKER, Monday, January 27th, 2020 @ 2:04pm

1) Remember the Blue masks in CERT Training?

2) GAMES Year!

3) EMF and PAIN Management

WHY WE PREP:

When folks didn't have their own facemasks, and the ones Brenda brought ran out, I supplied the CERT teams from my personal stock.

Previously, I had purchased 500 masks for $25.00 because I knew a pandemic would be inevitable.

Now, with the threat of an international virus knocking on our doors, those masks are going for $150 a case & more.

It's never "Too Early" to prepare.  It certainly can be "Too Late".  It's up to you.  Ranger and I have been teaching classes and facilitating workshops for well over a decade in this area of the country alone, and there are still folks who've not given their water filters, magnesium fire starters or Dutch ovens a "dry run".  Others have generators but no gas.  Radios, but not programmed.  Guns, but no clue how to safely operate.

Personally, I've taken this mission too seriously for far too long.   So, this is gonna be a fun year!

We're planning Preparedness Games from March through October:

Low-cost Game Nights with Pot Lucks, Contests and Prizes, tentatively scheduled 3rd Mondays in Athol and third Tuesdays in Newport.

Anticipate 3rd Sunday afternoons to be interactive Workshops and Group Projects in Blanchard.

Sign on to www.inwPrep.com (it's free!) to be kept advised of what's going on, as well as Special Deals as we come across them.

For now, please click www.inwPrep.com and read the first couple paragraphs of the Intro.  There you will see links for a product line (I do not sell them) that may prove invaluable to you and your loved ones in the times ahead.  If EMFs, water purification and pain management are concerns to you, check out these items I first started using in 1994!  Call me with questions . . . .

Thanks and Blessings!

Sunday's Power Outage:  What did YOU Learn from it?

Last Sunday, I gave a BaoFeng UV5R Radio mini-workshop at the Cocolalla Cowboy Church.  Dozens of folks learned how to punch in the right frequencies for Emergency Communications.
That was at noontime.  We scheduled a "Practice Net" for 5PM.
By the time we got home, we all were among the tens of thousands in the area with no power.

So, promptly at 5, we all conducted the first "Wellness Check" in the newly-founded 3CERT (Cocolalla Cowboy Church Emergency Response Team).
In a silent, dark world.  On $20 radios that could reach 20 miles.  Other folks, down in ravines, could reach neighbors up the hillsides, who then relayed their info back to Net Control.
To top it all off, all this was done on frequencies that require NO tests, fees or license.

Some "coincidence", huh?  I think we'll be having more examples of this, as we listen and follow through with our Inner Guidance.
Second Sundays of the month at CCC, Noon Pot Luck and Preparedness.  Bring grub to share and maybe even yer own mess kit!

Thanks!

Russ
