This annual event features many different kinds of entertainment, commercial and public interest presentations, as well as a guest canton each year. This year's guest is Zürich, with a theme of water. The fair takes place on either side of the S-Bahn station Zug Schutzengel near the Zug marina. You can avoid the line at the fair by buying a combination ticket at the train station. The nearest parking is at the Bossard Arena.
RED-WHITE WEEKS at the Restaurant Bären, Zug, 16 Oct. - 12 Dec. 2017

André von Ah, from the Langatun Distillery in Aarwangen, will present (in German) history, practical information and entertaining anecdotes pertaining to the enjoyment of whisky at the public library in Hünenberg starting at 19:00 on Thursday, 26 October. Irish Folk Songs at the Reformed Church in Zug, Tuesday, 31 October 2017
As an alternative to "Trick or Treat", treat yourself to a selection of Irish folk songs performed by IMCZ member Bruce Mathers at the Reformed Church in the Alpenstrasse in Zug on Tuesday evening, 31 October, starting at 20:00. The program contains a bunch of old favourites, such as "Danny Boy", "Cockles and Mussels" etc. Admission is free, but a collection will be taken at the end.
