Tour of the lake of Sempach on bike, inline skates, skateboard, wheelchair or even selfmade vehicle. Bikes can be rented. Plenty of Festbeizlis and drink stops all along the route. Erlach Culinary Wine Festival with the ZIWC, 23 September 2017
Saturday, 23rd September, booking and payment deadline: Wednesday, 7th June ZIWC President Meri Müller-de Jong is inviting us to join her and her husband, Oskar, in a celebration of the ZIWC's 50th Anniversary on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Partners are welcome along with friends from outside the club. Wear comfortable walking shoes!
A motor coach takes you to Biel, followed by a boat ride on the Lake of Biel for 1.5 hours past the beautiful vineyards of the region. After disembarking, the wine festival tour proceeds for the next 4 hours. There are 6 courses: each paired with different local wines with an explanation of the wines from apero to dessert! Between each course you will walk to the different serving locations, from the beach to castle, through the vineyards and into the quaint town which is blocked off for the day from cars. At the end of the day you can relax again on the coach ride back to Zug! Register in writing with Regula Münger who is graciously handling all the reservations for this event. The English Theatre Group of Zug proudly presents its latest production, an award-winning family musical by Georges Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins, Just So, The Wind in the Willows, Soho Cinders & the recent revival of Half a Sixpence) which is based on “The Ugly Duckling” by Hans Christian Andersen.
