Please click the 'JOIN GROUP' button on the right to join our mailing list and indicate your interest in participating at research studies at UCL's Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience. There is no obligation to participate in our studies by being on this mailing list. Even though you will never receive very many emails from us, you can always unsubscribe from our mailing list (by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of every email) or just filter our emails.
If you join a researcher might contact you and invite you to participate. The researcher will be able to give you a detailed description of the study concerned, and may then formally invite you to take part. If you have any questions, just ask your question whenever a researcher contacts you. Volunteers are usually reimbursed for their time and what this reimbursement entails will be specified in the email by the researcher. You are free to withdraw at any stage.
The ICN is always interested in hearing from volunteers of any age who are interested in participating in our studies.
Please create and use only one participant account to sign up for studies and make sure that the person who signed up for the study is the person who participates in the study. Also, please ensure that you arrive in good time for your appointment, or contact the researcher if you are running late. Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your appointment being cancelled. If you cannot keep your appointment, please try to cancel it 24 hours before your appointment time so someone else can sign up. Also please be cooperative and focused on the research tasks during each session and follow the researcher's instructions. We reserve the right to deactivate or delete your account immediately and without notice, in our sole judgement.
