Groups who have demonstrated their commitment to the three pillars of liberty - faith, virtue, and patriotism are eligible to be listed on the Legacy Group Directory. Whether groups have been operating for several years or are just starting up, they may apply to be listed on the HFA Legacy Group Directory. The directory is provided as a public service to assist patriots in finding a like-minded group in their community.
Qualifying groups may post the Legacy of Liberty seal on their website or printed material, and will have access to the Cottage Meeting Resource Center for educational materials. Apply Here
How to start a Legacy Group in your area:
Legacy groups, clubs and forums are groups of neighbors that meet locally under the guidance of designated leaders to provide support, share experiences and promote the principles of liberty through education, guest speakers and other activities that inspire a love of Country and encourage citizens in their efforts to become informed, active members of their communities, state, and nation.
We encourage concerned citizens to create their own group that operates independently of HomeMakers for America. This allows freedom to create a unique mission statement and operate according to the needs of the community.
The groups can be set up in various ways but we have outlined a basic format for forming and operating the groups that is proven to be effective. We have spoken with other groups to define what has worked for them and we formed our own group as a model, and then through trial and error, our own experiences, and the experiences of others, we were able to create this fine-tuned model for starting and operating a local group. Our instruction booklet provides several ideas that will assist you in creating a successful Liberty Group in your area.
Disclaimer: The groups listed in the Legacy of Liberty directory have demonstrated that they endorse the mission of HomeMakers for America which is “to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity.” They have also committed to uphold the three pillars of liberty – faith, virtue, and patriotism. However, these groups are not considered as affiliates or sub-groups of HomeMakers for America nor do they participate in the 501(c)(3) benefits granted to HomeMakers for America. The information posted their websites and publications may or may not represent the views of HomeMakers for America.
