This term the Oxford University Hindu Society brings you Oxford’s signature Asian event — The 2007 Diwali Ball.

The event promises to be a lavish occasion, providing attendees with a taste of Indian culture. There will be a sumptuous 3 course Indian meal accompanied by a range of traditional music and dance performances.

Be prepared for astounding entertainment throughout the night, from palm readers and magicians to henna artists and live dhol players. The Diwali Ball will also bring you live performances from the renowned Rishi Rich showcase featuring H-Dhami, Veronica, Mumzy and their resident DJ.

For the first time ever, the climax of the evening will see Oxford’s skyline lit up with a spectacular fireworks display.

Additionally, Zee TV (the number one Asian TV channel) will be filming the event to be televised throughout the UK and Europe.
