Grey Lynn Community Gardens

About this group

Grey Lynn Community Gardens are hidden in the grounds of St Columba Church behind the community centre. We are a small, co-operative group of dedicated gardeners with an emphasis on edibles. The gardens are wholly organic with no artificial sprays or fertilisers used. We compost, have worm farms and seed save from season to season. Excess produce is given to the church once a month for the City Mission.

Gardeners often meet on Saturday mornings, but also come during the week. On Weds, Sat and Sun mornings parking must be off-site.

We welcome help and interested new gardeners as there is always work to be done. If you would like to get in touch, please contact Melena at melena@ihug.co.nz.
