Healing Gardens Cooperative started in the summer of 2004 with the aim of turning an unused field land adjacent to Healing Waters Retreat premises into a tranquil community garden space. Offering space for growing vegetables, native wildlife habitat and a place where people can meet, relax and find a moment of calm, Healing Gardens Cooperative will be a resource both for members and volunteers from the local community.

We have a rapidly growing open membership, members local and further afield. It is currently £30 to join annually and in return for approximately 2 hours work, you receive wonderful produce. We work together in the gardens, as well as other necessary tasks for running a cooperative. We grow also for the local community, making supermarket shopping and airmiles redundant.Taking care of the land and community down to the seventh generation
