Kaweah Oaks Preserve birding trip: May 19

Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at 7am - 3pm

This event is in the past.

The Fresno Birding Group will visit the Kaweah Oaks Preserve, located 7 miles east of downtown Visalia, on May 19. Please meet at the old Mervyn's parking lot (SE corner of Blackstone & Ashlan) at 6:45 so that we can leave promptly at 7am. The trip will probably end mid-afternoon, so bring lunch. There are three loop trails on the preserve, with a total distance of about 2 miles. We'll plan to walk most of the trails. The trails are flat, so the hiking won't be difficult.

The preserve is a wonderful riparian woodland habitat. For more information, go to http://kaweahoaks.com/.

Please contact Kevin Enns-Rempel for more information (559-313-4546 or kevin.enns.rempel@fresno.edu).
