The Merced National Wildlife Refuge is one of Central California's premier birding spots. The large flocks of Sandhill Cranes, Snow Geese, and Ross's Geese are an unforgettable experience. Meet at the old Mervyn’s parking lot (southeast corner of Blackstone & Ashlan) at 8:00am.
