About us
Our wildlife do not get a say in national Government unless we provide one for them. It is therefore vital that we have MPs who will vote to create and protect animal welfare law. Labour MPs have shown such commitment across all animal issues and it is the main reason this political animal lobby was created.
Founded in 2009 we have achieved much for our wildlife and provided a voice against the bloodsport lobby. Our sharp comments and determination to give wildlife a say has become well known by the wider public. We have worked with Cabinet Ministers, (when Labour was elected) Labour MPs, rock stars and a host of animal organisations. We even created a TV moment for the former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. We have also been proud to have created the Fox in Parliament Awards for Labour MPs who achieve the most for our wildlife.
We use a mixture of direct lobbying, events and our on line presence to set out messages to support wildlife and to speak against all forms of animal cruelty. We routinely speak out against those we believe either cause animal cruelty or enable it, this includes others in Parliament who let our wildlife down.
If you are not a member yet please join, membership is just £10 and is open to Labour Party members and those who support Labour. Fox in Parliament is part of Support the Hunting Act (BAN) UK and we are a non-profit organisation. While we are very supportive of the Labour Party we are independent from them and receive no financial support from the party. We are non-profit and any money raised in membership or donations goes back into the lobby to ensure we can do much more for our wildlife.
