The Food Recovery Network (FRN) is a Non-Profit Organization that serves as a network of student groups and individuals at UMD who volunteer to recover the surplus food from the dining halls and sports games and donate it to hungry men, women and children in the DC area. Our largest donors are UMD's Department of Dining Services and Concessions, and we deliver the food to So Others Might Eat (SOME), the Community for Creative Non-Violence (CCNV) and Gospel Rescue Ministries.
