Minyan Shirat ha-Agam is a warm and inclusive Jewish community in Evanston. We meet twice a month for Shabbat morning davening. We share a commitment to traditional, participatory, meaningful prayer and Torah study, and we strive to build a community that welcomes and supports all members. Children and adults of all ages are integral members of this community. Our minyan is lay-led and fully egalitarian. Please join us any time!
Minyan Shirat ha-Agam meets on the first and third Saturday mornings of every month, at Northwestern Fiedler Hillel, 629 Foster Street, Evanston. We begin at 9:30 a.m. in the upstairs library. Following services, kiddush is held jointly with the Evanston Orthodox Minyan. We often have a parallel "Tot Shabbat" service for young children, also coordinated with the Evanston Orthodox Minyan, usually around 11:00 a.m.
