Red Frog Events, produces the extreme 5k running event called Warrior Dash! Looking for groups to volunteer in exchange for a donation of $1,000. 
 

We try to make volunteering as fun as participating in our event!  As volunteers you receive a t-shirt, food throughout the day and access to all our live-music and festival like atmosphere, in addition to earning a significant donation for your organization.  If your group would like to volunteer a double shift on Saturday, we'll donate a total of $2,250 to your group!


What we are looking for:
We are looking to partner with local organizations in order to create a fullRockstar staff for the weekend!  We are asking for a minimum of 25 volunteers (at least 16 years old) to staff one (or more) of the following shifts:
 
SHIFT #1:  Saturday October 9, 2010 from 7:00am-2:00pm          
SHIFT #2:  Saturday October 9, 2010 from 1:00pm-7:00pm
SHIFT #3:  Sunday October 10, 2010 from 7:00am-2:00pm
SHIFT #4:  Sunday October 10, 2010 from 1:00pm-7:00pm
 **Please note times are an approximation and subject to slight changes
 
Tasks for the Day:

• Check-in / Packet pick-up (Assist in the distribution of race packets to racers).
• Supervising course obstacles for participant safety and cheering them on
• Stationed at ‘Pyramid Brewery Watering Hole’ booths (turkey legs, t-shirt stand, etc.)
  
• Start and finish lines water distribution & congratulatory section
  

**The above is an example of some volunteer tasks for the day.  Actual tasks may vary and will be assigned on race day.

What you get in return:
For each shift that your organization covers, we will make a donation of $1,000 to your organization (mailed to group organizer Wednesday following the event). If your organization chooses to cover any 2 shifts, we will make a donation of $2,250. Each volunteer will receive a Warrior Dash staff t-shirt (to be worn during the shift).  We will also feature your organization’s logo on the Warrior Dash webpage with a link to your webpage (Please note, this only applies to non-profit & charitable organizations)
