Acknowledging the importance of territorial cooperation in order to face the common challenges defined for the Baltic Sea Region, all parties involved should work together for successful implementation of the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).
The documents enclosed (see below) are our first attempt to collect basic information on different funding sources available to support project ideas, establish new partnerships and strengthen future cooperation and implementation of the EUSBSR.
The Excel document displays three tabs including Objective 1 and 2 (Convergence, Competitiveness and Regional Employment), Objective 3 (Territorial Cooperation) and ENPI Programmes and, lastly, Other funding sources. This document was created in March 2011 and is regularly updated. We hope the document will be used as an indicative reference to orient in the field of different funding sources. The list of funding sources presented could be extended and is not final.
Additionally, the fact sheet shows some relevant seed money facilities in the Baltic Sea region. This document has been made available in April 2013.
