Assumptions, Expectations, and Misinterpreted Actions

How personality type differences can unintentionally derail communication.

Using personality type models to explore differing approaches to communication, Donna will show how individuals can easily misunderstand each other’s intentions, words, and actions. These misunderstandings can hinder our communication and create tension in our interactions.

The session explores how personality type differences link to our assumptions and expectations about the purpose of interactions, pace and content of conversations, and the results we are seeking from communications.

Using real-life examples and humour, Donna provides insights and facilitates discussion into how we can better understand and communicate with each other.
