How flexible is your course?

Many courses at Cambridge allow some flexibiliaty to choose modules and topics that interest you. Here you can read testimonials from students about their experiences.

Academics with opportunities

There are many opportunities for you to get involved with Climate Change research while at university. Unfortunately sometimes an amazing opportunity will pass you by because it wasn't advertised in your Department! Here at ZCS we're very keen to help play match maker.

How to land a Summer Scholarship

Summer research scholarships are a great way to gain experience in a lab. They look good on the CV and are almost essential preparation for a good research based 3rd year dissertation, Part 3 course or Masters.

Extracurricular Activities

Your lectures are only one part of your university education. It's difficult to show 'leadership', 'management skills', 'resourcefulness' and many of the other employment related keywords in a classroom environment. More importantly getting involved in 'something', no matter what it is, is generally extremely rewarding.
