Welcome to the CU Food Society – a society set up by and for people with a passion for good food. We hope to take you on a culinary adventure, to explore the sights, smells and tastes around us, and to share what we find with others via our society.
We will tempt your taste buds, conjure up your curiosity to cook and feed you fabulous food. For the fully-fledged gastronomes amongst you, share with us your secrets, your tips and hints for how to make a good dish great, and where to buy the best.
It is with great sadness that the committee must announce the end of our society.
Over the last term, as I'm sure you have noticed, we have been seeking a replacement committee but so far, we've been unable to find enough motivated people to do so. The remaining committee are all graduating this year so will not be able to continue. (If you want to save the society, drop firstname.lastname@example.org an email by Sunday.)
We would like to thank you all for being fantastic members and making such a society possible and for making this last year the best (in terms of attendance) we've had. I'd also like to thank the previous committees who've helped to build the society and our senior treasurer, Dr Chiara Ciccarelli.
