The Next CMIAID Mission Team: 2 July to 19 July 2013
Every year CMIAid takes Mission Teams to Eastern Europe. Teams are made up of enthusiastic Christian people who have a desire to see, serve and learn.
Each Mission Team spends two to three weeks in Moldova. Most of this time will be spent in Moldova where CMIAid's work is based.
Team members need to be self-funded and prepared to serve as part of a team. They also need to be willing to be sensitive to the culture and practises of people from the places that the visits - some of which may be very different to what you are used to in your homeland!
The purpose of each team is to be a testimony to the Lord Jesus Christ and to demonstrate the love of God in the communities visited.
TEAM INFORMATION - JULY 2013
Team dates:
2 July to 19 July
Team starting point:
Bucharest. Team members need to be in Bucharest by the afternoon of 2 July. Team members will return to Bucharest on the morning of 19 July.
Team activities:
The team will be involved in various ministries in Moldova. There will be the opportunity for team members to assist with Summer Children's Camps, Gospel Outreach and literature distribution in hospitals, schools, towns and villages. There is also a lot of practical work that the team will be involved in at the Bethesda Christian Centre.
Team cost:
AUD $950 / EUR 760* / GBP 615* / USD $1000* per person (ex Bucharest)
*Based on the exchange rate to Australian dollars on 2/1/2013 - subject to change.
This price includes: 2 nights accommodation in Bucharest, accommodation and all meals at the CMIAID base for 17 days, transport from Bucharest to and from Moldova, transport in Moldova and the visa for Moldova.
This price does not include: Air tickets to and from Bucharest. Team members are responsible to organise their own travel to and from Bucharest.
