The Orange County Chapter of CLSA is twice the size of the next biggest chapter in the state. We believe in focusing on practice issues and providing meaningful support for the licensed professionals working in private and public practice. David Woolley will give a detailed accounting of how the chapter functions and the principles and practices of the chapter.

The OC-CLSA is a practice based chapter. We are currently focused on Qualification Based Selection (“QBS”), Joint Professional Practices Committee/Legislative Committee, BPELSG governance and surveyor’s rights.

David Woolley has been a director from Orange County for nearly 15 years, past president of the Orange County Chapter and currently the Membership Chairman.

David E. Woolley is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor with over 30 years experience in the land surveying industry servicing diverse clientele, in both the private and public sector. Mr. Woolley is well versed in state laws, local ordinances and standards of practice. He is often consulted as a specialist for litigation work that ranges from property boundary disputes, boundary establishment and mapping, public agency map checking, horizontal and vertical geodetic control and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys. He has written several published papers on land surveyor liability.
