    Entering the npower Future Leaders Challenge by getting together a team of 4 students and identifying a project that will get people in your community living more sustainably could win you a trip to the land of the midnight sun.


    The winning teams will experience first hand the importance of living a more sustainable life, talking to locals and learning how climate change is directly impacting them.


    In addition to the fabulous first prize, 8 finalist teams will have the opportunity to attend an outdoor team building activity; a fabulous weekend that will push you physically and build on your team working and leadership skills.


    npower are so confident that you will develop key employability skills from running your project, preparing for the competition, completing the team building weekend and actually going on the trip that they guarantee to offer a summer placement for each member of the winning team.

    Would you like a challenging, responsible role working as an on campus ambassador for a large, global organisation?

    Do you have a passion for business and understanding how consumers behave?

    Would you like to have fun, build valuable experience and be mentored by an industry expert?

     

    If this sounds like you, then Bright Futures want to hear from you.

    We are looking for a Campus Brand Manager to support our client, Kantar Worldpanel, in achieving their on campus graduate marketing strategy. You will act as their brand champion on campus and advise them how we can best promote their graduate opportunities to specific talented students. We are currently looking for students from the following universities:

    • Warwick
    • Lancaster
    • York
    • Nottingham
    • Exeter
       

    Kantar Worldpanel is the world leader in understanding what people buy, what they use and the attitudes behind shopper behaviour. Who is doing what and why? Where is the market going? Kantar apply their expertise to hard, quantitative evidence and their hindsight, insight, foresight and advice makes a real difference to the actions their clients take for their businesses. Major retailers, manufacturers and city clients know how valuable Kantar's knowledge can be – because they have already helped hundreds of them to better understand their shoppers’ needs and grow their business.

     

    Some of the activities that you could be involved with include:

    ·         Publicise any Kantar Worldpanel events (campus based or elsewhere) to relevant target audiences:

    ·   Distribute posters, flyers on campus

    ·   Extend invitations to identified target students to events

    ·         Advise on local events that Kantar Worldpanel could be involved with or any other opportunities (e.g. sponsorship)

    ·         Actively promote and build awareness of Kantar Worldpanel opportunities to relevant, targeted graduate and undergraduates students and refer contact details

    ·         Liaise with Bright Futures and other relevant student groups and societies on campus to seek opportunities/interested students.

    ·         Build strong relationships with Careers Service staff and ensure they have the up to date information & materials regarding Kantar Worldpanel’s graduate and undergraduate opportunities.

    ·         Build strong relationships with academics, identifying and exploring ways in which Kantar Worldpanel can contribute to students understanding of market research and consumer behaviour. Flag these academic opportunities to the Bright Futures team for progression.

    ·         Liaise with the Bright Futures Team

    ·         Social media – starting facebook groups etc

    We need committed, motivated and pro-active students to take up this role on campus. We will equip you with the knowledge and materials required in order for you to be successful.
