Final scores of September's league can now be viewed in the league archive as normal.
The new league is now up on the website and runs from the 7th October to the 4th November, a hard copy will be placed on the board at Medway Park over the next few days as normal.
Its great to see players coming back into the league for the winter season and making it even more competitive, welcome back Sam, Eddie, Reuben, Len, John, Tom and Stan. Its a pleasure to have you all back. I would also like to take this oppurtunity to welcome new members Chris Carter and Sam Kemp to the leagues, we're a friendly bunch so you should settle right in!
Finally a few house keeping issues, I have had a few complaints regarding claimed games when an opponent is either cancelling on the day of an aranged game or not turning up. Please note games can be claimed for a "no show" or a cancellation on the day as is stipulated in the league rules.
Lastly please do not be surprised if you are dropped more than one league box if you are not playing your games.

Kent Squash have expressed an interest in running an additional 4th Divsion this Winter Season with the express view of getting lower ranked players involved. The aim is that teams will be made up of 5 players with the number 1's being no higher ranked than 1000 with the remaining 2, 3,4, & 5's being lower ranked.
The teams then play home and away fixtures against other Kent wide clubs. Match fee's are £10 per match but this includes drinks and food afterwards.
This is a really good opportunity for people to experiance of competitive Kent League Squash. To gauge if we have enough interested people to field a team could you please contact Dinesh a.s.a.p. as the League need to know fairly soon.

Here are this months movers and shakers......I think we may need a stewards enquiry as somehow Tariq has found himself at the top of the pile. Well played fella. Special mentions to Darren and Zoe who continue to make steady progress up the rankings!

With regards to the PAR system we would like to introduce it has now been decided that this will be a two month trial, commencing next week, at the end of which we would ask Members to let us have their feedback so that a decision can be made as to whether it is continued with.
It will be up to the individual player during the two months to agree with their opponent if they play their matches PAR or HIHO (English). Please ensure that you agree between yourselves before the start of a match and if possible when you challenge another player in your league.
Final scores for the League have been updated to the website and archived for your perusal. The new league has also been uploaded to the website, a hard copy will be put on the board at Medway Park over the next few days as normal.
As you are hopefully already aware the league scoring system has now changed to PAR/American scoring to 15 points, a tie at 14 all will result in play continuing till either competitor wins by 2 clear points. Matches are still best of 5 games.
Please note that it is the winners duty to either inform me of the result or mark the League sheet at Medway Park correctly, any results entered erroneously will not be considered a result. If anyone is unsure how to correctly enter a score on the League sheet then please do contact me directly and I am more than willing to do it for you.
Lastly, now that everyone has finished perfecting their tans from the holiday period the League has resumed to a 4 week rotation commencing on the 2nd September and finishing on the 30th September 2018.
