The Hotel Des Indes is one of the most iconic hotels in the Netherlands. Built in 1856, the hotel was originally a palace for Baron von Brienen van Groot-Lindt en Dortmunde, who was an advisor to King William III. Today it boasts a guest list that include the rich and famous, royalty and emperors, and the chic and savvy. With its famous lineage comes stories and myths about what has taken place inside the grand building.
Coen Masselink, the hotel’s General Manager, and the husband of AWC Member Ingrid Masselink Andreas, will join us to share stories and juicy tidbits while dispelling the myths about the Hotel Des Indes. He promises to change your perspective about this storied hotel.
