London to Manchester Ride

Sunday, 1st September 2019 at 11am - 6pm

Location: Adlington Hall, Manchester

This Rather Be Cycling event in conjunction with massive cycling company, Rapha, sees cyclists completing an impressive 220miles through the heart of England.  This year, they are mixing it up and reserving the route, starting in London and finishing in Manchester.  In 2017 the conditions for riders were pretty challenging, with even Sir Bradley Wiggins complaining about the wind strength!

Now in its 6th year, this challenge will see around 300 riders set off from the London at midnight riding up the spine of the country through the Chilterns, Midlands and Peak District, before finishing at Adlington Hall on the outskirts of Manchester.  To make this year even more challenging, an off road section has also been thrown into the mix!

These riders will have been working very hard before and during the event with training and with sponsorship as Rather Be Cycling and Rapha cycling aim to raise £1million for Ambitious About Autisum!  They will thoroughly be deserving of your helping hands after this one.

You must provide your own equipment, not suitable for students sorry.

Fee: £90

Times: tbc but currently... 1100-1800
