An emerging artist, Laura rediscovered her childhood love of painting in early 2008 and has been busy producing beautiful original pieces in oils ever since.
Like many equestrian artists, Laura has been inspired by horses from an early age; their power, grace, and beauty. 2009 saw Laura's debut at the Society of Equestrian Artists Annual Exhibition, Mall Galleries London, at which she was awarded the Ingleton-Beer Associates Prize for best depiction of horse and rider. In 2011 she was awarded The Eggesford Studio Prize for the best piece of work by an artist under 35, at the same exhibition.
Based in Darlington, County Durham, Laura lives with her husband, their two young sons, and three dogs.
