The mission of the ACS Guild is to provide support for the Austin Children’s Shelter by supporting ACS development efforts, increasing community awareness of the Shelter and its work, and by providing activities that enhance the lives of Shelter children and youth.

There are many ways to make a difference as a Guild member. Volunteers can go behind the scenes of ACS and help with Shelter driven development programs, get out in the community and serve as an advocate and community spokesperson to extend the Shelter’s reach within the community, and help at regular on-site and off-site activities that directly connect with Shelter clients, such as movie nights, games, parties, and other “fun events.”
