85 Broads is the ultimate career connection for smart women worldwide. 85 Broads began as a networking group for women professional in Goldman Sachs in 1997. It has since evolved into a global women’s network for business women, mothers, entrepreneurs and women who simply inspire others with over 17,000 members worldwide. It has spread to business schools, graduate schools and now undergraduate schools. The Oxford Chapter is fairly new and is looking to establish its place among the many women’s and business societies at Oxford. We aim to be a group that fosters communication, connections and personal contact with professional women, especially alumni, allowing members to learn from women who have been in our position in the past as we embark upon our individual career paths. In this ever-changing climate, global connectedness is absolutely integral to our success. We hope to begin this on a small scale within 85 Broads, allowing strong women across Oxford to find out the many opportunities life has to offer.
